Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko presents to the East Lake Forum on “Human
Destiny Community and Global Governance”. The Forum, which takes place

Professor
Kolodko again in Shanghai. This time he participates in the Hongqiao
International Business Media & Think Tank Forum, hosted by the
State Council Information Office of China. It is held in National
Exhibition and Convention Center on the opening day of the first China
International Import Expo (CIIE). With the theme “Build and Communicate
an Open World Economy” the forum covers two topics: 1. The Role of
Media and Think Tanks in an Open World Economy and 2. An Open China and
the Development of the World. More than 600 business media executives,
think tank experts and entrepreneurs attend this event, bringing in
their thoughts and exploring together new ideas, concepts, and

is held in Sopot. This is one of the largest conference in this part of

books
publishing by Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko on the world challenges,
globalization, transformation and the future of the world, issued by
the Publishing House Proszynski & S-ka, exceeded the circulation of
100,000! The record goes to “Wedrujacy swiat” (English edition, “
Truth, Errors and Lies: Economics and Politics in a Volatile World”),
which sold just in the Polish language over 60,000 copies; it was
published also in ten other languages. On this special occasion, a
meeting took place at the Warsaw EMPiK Nowy Świat, where the author was
awarded the IKAR statuette.
