President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection
Lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University
of Warsaw. From 1991 to 1996 advisor to the Government Plenipotentiary
for the European Integration and Foreign Aid at the Chancellery
of the Prime Minister, from 1996 responsible for the issues of
adjusting public economic law to the Community law. From 1997
cooperated with the Office for Judicial Decisions of the Constitutional
Tribunal on the analysis of judicial decisions of the European
Tribunal of Justice. For two years (2000-2001) undersecretary
of the state at the Office of the Committee for European Integration
responsible for harmonisation of the Polish law with the Community
law. In September 2001 won the contest for the President of the
Office for Competition and Consumer Protection. The term of office
expires in 2005.
Holder of a scholarship of the University in Vienna, Humboldt
Fund at the University of Konstanz, Munich, and Vienna, University
of Tubingen, and others. Writer and co-writer of several dozens
of books, articles, commentaries to acts and sentences of the
Tribunal of Justice in the field of administrative and economic
law and the European economic law.
