Starting February 2001, TIGER organized a new Science Club "Tigers".

"Tigers" aims at enhancing students' knowledge of various economic, social and political aspects of the process of postsocialist transformation, integration and globalization, including impact of the "new economy" growth paradigm.

The inaugurational meeting held by prof. Grzegorz W. Kolodko, Director of TIGER, took place on February 26 2001. During the meeting Profesor G. W. Kolodko outlined the objectives of "Tigers" and described plans for the Science Club in the near and long-term future.
