for Development of Post-socialist Economies

Goal of the research project is to analyze process of post-socialist transition, especially its economic aspects. Good occasion to undertake such project is 20. anniversary of Polish "Round Table" - event which is often said to be the beginning of the transition process in Central and Eastern Europe.
To participate in the project have been invited leading researchers from Polish and international research institutions. Task of the authors is not only to look at the transition process from the historical perspective but also to try to make some forecasts for the economic and political future of post-socialist countries.
