Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko's bestseller analyzing the determinants
and consequences of Donald Trump's second term is now available in
three languages: „Trump 2.0 Rewolucja chorego rozsądku”, „Trump 2.0: Global Disruptions and Power Shifts”, „Trumps zweite Amtszeit: Globale Machtverschiebungen, internationale Politik und eine neue Weltordnung”.
The publisher of the English-language edition writes: „In an era of
rapid geopolitical shifts and economic uncertainty, this book takes an
academic, professional, and unorthodox approach to analyzing the
intricate feedback loops between politics, economics, and security.
Against the backdrop of pressing global challenges, this book examines
how Donald Trump's return to the White House could reshape the world
order, disrupt existing alliances, and redefine America's role on the
international stage.”

January 20, 2026The
first year of Donald Trump's second presidency has passed.
Unfortunately, I was right in the assessments contained in the book “Trump 2.0: Global Disruptions and Power Shifts”
which I wrote during the first weeks of his megalomaniacal rule in the
US and his unbridled domination of world affairs. Unfortunately,
because most of these assessments are unequivocally negative. I can't
point to one in which I was overly pessimistic. If anything, perhaps I
was insufficiently pessimistic once or twice, as I didn't expect that,
under the influence of his dictatorial tendencies, the United States
would withdraw from over sixty international organizations and
agreements serving good causes. I certainly wasn't guilty of excessive
optimism, although I didn't expect the dollar to fall on such a scale.
I consistently treat President Trump as the world's greatest modern
pest. Many people still don't realize the scale of this
destructiveness, which will cast a long shadow on the future.
