October 28th 2016 – “What Future for Poland’s Economy?”
Goal of the conference is to have professional discussion about
domestic and international conditions and development perspectives of
Polish economy.
In the discussion take part experienced policy makers and scholars who
specialize in economics, management, finance and law. Among participant
there will be also students from Kozminski University. The event has a
public character, is open for media.
Conference agenda:
Session I 10:30 – 12:00
Special address by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development –
Mr Mateusz Morawiecki. Lecture will be followed by question from the
audience and discussion.
Coffee break 12:00 – 12:20
Session II 12:20 – 14:20
Panel discussion with former Deputy Prime Ministers who were responsible for economic policy. Invitation was accepted by:

- Janusz Steinhoff.
In the session, conducted by prof. Grzegorz W. Kołodko, four times
deputy prime minister and minister of finance in 1994-97 and 2002-03,
discussion is
focused on current shape of Poland’s economy, future development
challenges and alternative tools of economic policy.
