21eme Edition du Marathon International de Marrakech is done! It's been already 31st marathon run by Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko, this time in Morocco, in 4 hours 20 minutes and 42 seconds. Keep going!

About "World on the Move"

January - June 2010
Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko's Tour de Pologne, during which the author of
"Wandering World" presents lectures and meets the readers, does continue.
So far, since the book was published, as many as 222 such meetings have taken place, with the attendance of about 27 thousand people.

And one more occasion to meet with the author of "Wandering World" and to see the exhibition of
Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko's photographs "The world as it is...".
This time he is a guest of the Warsaw Club PODR荅NIK (Traveler), at 39/9 Chlodna Street.
The opening of the exhibition takes place on Wednesday, January 27th, at 7:00 p.m.

The TIGER Director, Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko has been nominated as the member
of the European Academy of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (Academie Europeenne des Sciences des arts et des Lettres).
This eminent organization, affiliated with UNESCO, involves about 600 distinguished scholars and artists, including 60 Nobel Laureates, from 54 countries.
February 11-12, 2010
Dr Jacek Tomkiewicz takes part in the seminar organized by The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies.
The seminar is organized within the research project "World and Europe in 2025". TIGER is a member of the consortium which realizes the project.

Moscow Academy of Finance hosts the First Annual National Student Scientific
Conference on "Financial Markets of the Future".
At the conference the TIGER Director, Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko presents a keynote lecture on
the implications and consequences of the global economic crisis and participates in a panel discussion on the post-crisis perspectives of the world economy.
Professor Kolodko is a Honoris Causa Doctor of the Academy.
July 11-18, 2010
"Globalization, Transformation and Development" - on such topic Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko delivers
a 12-hours course for the students of the 2010 Summer School on "Transition Studies in the Context of Multidisciplinary Approach" at the
School of Advanced International and Area Studies of the East China Normal University in Shanghai.
